Anyways, it&#039;s amazing how this has developed. Sure, homophobic rhetoric from the right was to be expected, Bush&#039;s constitutional amendment was the obvious ploy, but then San Fran&#039;s mayor, and now in New Paltz!

A pity neither &#039;serious&#039; democratic candidate is willing to take a strong stand, but that&#039;s also to be expected. If more mayors / officials across the nation take a stand like this.. Who knows?
