John Kerry? Ya-a-a-awn…

Following the so-called Super Tuesday primary elections, John Edwards is out and John Effin’ Kerry reportedly has a lock on the Democratic nomination. Quelle surprise.
Here is a wake-up call: There is still an actually progressive Democrat who is still in the race. Please don’t give in to the media’s declaration that Kerry is “it.” If you support equality and justice for all; fair trade; changing how the US handles health care, jobs, and education; and peace, Dennis Kucinich is the only principled choice — check out what he has to say.

If it makes you feel any better, I voted for Kucinich.
I considered, up until the last minute, voting in the “practical” race between Kerry and Edwards – I can be pragmatic in voting when it makes sense to me to do so. But in this case, Kerry and Edwards seemed to agree on everything, and my one mild preference – that if I was going to get the same policies with either one, I might as well prefer the more experienced version of the same policies – was so widely shared that I figured Kerry would win anyway, both in my state and in general. So I went for Kucinich.
