Last week’s poll asked, “Do you believe Martin Luther King Jr., would have been in favor of affirmative action?”
The results broke down like this:
Sixty percent responded, “Yes. He was all about leveling the playing field for the pigmentationally oppressed.”
Thirty percent disagreed: “No, his focus was on justice for all people – and people of all colors are economically oppressed.”
And 10 percent said, “I don’t know.”

This week’s poll question deals with the continuing controversy over theatrical circus Cirque du Soleil, which admits to firing gymnast Matthew Cusick because he is HIV-positive. Read all about it, then give the matter some thought. We want to know your opinion: “Is Cirque du Soleil guilty of illegal discrimination?”
Tell us what you think! Cast your vote in the AF&O Poll of the Week. You’ll find it in the blue box in the sidebar to the right. And tell your friends and colleagues to participate — we want to get a wide range of views.
You can vote only once. Work schedule depending, results will be available next Sunday.
